PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently enlarge a diameter dimension of an inertia plate in a rotor to stabilize rotation of the rotor. SOLUTION: In this electronically controlled mechanical timepiece, the fifth wheel & pinion 11 is supported by a base plate 3 and the second wheel bridge 15. The axial center of the fifth wheel & pinion 11 is thereby overlapped with the sixth wheel & pinion 12 without interfering each other, and a diameter dimension of the sixth wheel & pinion 12 can be enlarged thereby. Since a speed increasing ratio between the sixth wheel & pinion 12 and the rotor 13 is increased by this manner, the rotor 13 meshed therewith is rotated at a high speed to enhance power generation efficiency.
