PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a presence management device to acquire presence information even from a terminal not executed with access authentication even when user terminals form a group to hierarchize a network, so as to provide presence service in an IP network or the like. SOLUTION: By setting presence information obtained by access authentication by a master terminal representing the group to presence information of the user terminal on the basis of belonging relation information to the user terminal forming the group, the presence information of each the user terminal is acquired.
