<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management topology so that one power transducer can provide a controllable DC power output to a system load and a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply topology has a first path configured to be coupled to a controllable DC power source, a second path configured to be coupled to a battery, and a third path configured to be coupled to a system load. The first, second and third paths are coupled to a common node.
