PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving electrolyte of an aluminium electrolytic capacitor which has a low specific resistance and the excellent reliability at high temperatures. SOLUTION: Carboxylic acid or its salt and acylphenylalanine as shown in the formula are dissolved in a solvent obtained by mixing ethylene glycol with water. Examples of the carboxylic acid include azelaic acid, sebacic acid, 1, 6-decanoic dicarboxylic acid, 5, 6-decanoic dicarboxylic acid, 7-vinylhexadecene-1, 16-dicarboxylic acid, and the like, and further examples of a salt of the carboxylic acid include an ammonium salt, in addition, a primary amine salt such as methylamine, ethylamine, or t-butylamine, a secondary amine salt such as dimethylamine, ethyl methyl amine, or diethylamine, a tertiary amine salt such as trimethylamine, diethyl methyl amine, ethyl dimethyl amine, or triethylamine, and a quaternary ammonium salt such as tetramethyl ammonium or triethyl methyl ammonium.
