PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse loading device for a refuse collecting vehicle of a simple constitution capable of actuating a slide cylinder and a swing cylinder simultaneously even in a process having a different load and simplifying hydraulic piping. SOLUTION: This device includes a refuse cast-in box 6 joined with a refuse accommodation box 3 and provided internally with the refuse loading device A which is equipped with a slide plate 10 sliding freely in the vertical direction by the expanding/contracting motion of the slide cylinder 13 and an intrusion plate 15 installed at the bottom of the slide plate 10 swingingly in the fore-and-aft direction by the expanding/contracting motion of the swing cylinder 14, and by operations of the slide plate 10 and the intrusion plate 15 that perform inversion, descent, compression, and elevation as one cycle, respectively, the refuse is loaded in the box 3. In this refuse collecting vehicle 1, the slide cylinder 13 and the swing cylinder 14 are independently provided with oil pressure generating devices 16 and 18 to supply pressure oil to the respective cylinders integrally or adjacently.
