<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample container which enables highly accurate analysis of a sample in an X-ray analysis. <P>SOLUTION: The sample container is constituted of an element other than those which are considered to be objects of a fluorescent X-ray analysis in general and a mask 60 is made of a carbonaceous material or a polymer material such as polybenzimidazole which is a radiation-resistant macromolecule not undergoing decomposition even in the case of irradiation with a primary X-ray. Differently from a conventional mask 60 made of a metal or an alloy other than the carbonaceous material or the polymer material, even when the mask 60 which is not the object of analysis is irradiated with the primary X-ray or fluorescent X-ray, the element in the mask 60 is prevented from emitting an unnecessary fluorescent X-ray which can cause a big error on the result of analysis. Thus, detection of the fluorescent X-ray as the object of analysis emitted from the element in the sample becomes easy, and the error included in the result of analysis becomes small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
