PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a high holding temperature of a tubular casing type alloyed thermal fuse, and to miniaturize it in an inner diameter ranging from 1.3±0.1 mm to 0.7±0.1 mm while guaranteeing a sufficiently high operating temperature when energizing it. SOLUTION: In this thermal fuse wherein a fusible alloy piece 3 is connected between reed conductors 2, 2, flux 4 is applied to the fusible alloy piece 3 to cover it, an insulating tube 1 is inserted over the reed conductors 2, 2, and a space between each end of the insulating tube 1 and each reed conductor 2 is sealed with an adhesive 5, the outer diameter of the fusible alloy piece 3 is 0.59-0.80 times as large as the inner diameter of the insulating tube 1.
