<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency division type phase shift circuit and an analog quadrature modulation/demodulation circuit for generating quadrature signals of the same phase. <P>SOLUTION: In an analog quadrature demodulation circuit (A), FF 315 and 316 included in a frequency division type phase shift circuit 312 divide a frequency of a LOCAL signal into four frequencies to generate quadrature carrier signals. Analog mixers 313 and 314 use the quadrature carrier signals to quadrature demodulate a received signal R into an I received signal and a Q received signal. The FF 315 and 316 are simultaneously reset by a CLEAR signal. The frequency division type phase shift circuit 312 is realized with a one-chip IC of which a clear pin is led outside or the analog quadrature demodulation circuit is realized with such a one-chip IC as a whole. An analog quadrature modulation circuit (B) is also similar.
