PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive magnet roller for two-component system which separates a toner from a carrier in two-component toner. SOLUTION: The magnet roller 1 has a columnar main body portion which is formed integrally with a resin material in which magnetic powder is mixed and dispersed into a resin binder, and a shaft portion. A magnetic force pattern in the periphery has a pair of repulsion poles having the same polarity and adjacent each other among two or more magnetic poles, and a zero Gaussian strip which is prepared among these repulsion poles and has a magnetic force of not more than 5mT.
