<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a QC phantom which prevents a deterioration in image quality due to scattered radiation by reducing the influence of the scattered radiation. <P>SOLUTION: In the QC phantom A1 which has a component layer 1 having a metallic pattern 1a and synthetic resin patterns 1b arranged opposite to and between an X-ray source B and a receiving medium C for receiving transmitted X-rays and inspects the quality of an X-ray imaging system, a metallic layer 3 for absorbing and reducing the scattered radiation of the X-rays is laminated on the component layer 1 on the side facing the receiving medium C, thereby an X-ray image of a high image quality which is little influenced by the scattered radiation is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
