WASHING SOLUTION FOR SEPARATING AND REFINING NUCLEIC ACID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing solution used in a separating and refining method of a nucleic acid including a step for absorbing the nucleic acid into a solid phase composed of an organic polymer having a hydroxy group on the surface and desorbing the nucleic acid from the solid phase and capable of washing away only impurity nonspecifically absorbed to the solid phase without detaching the nucleic acid absorbed in the solid phase. SOLUTION: The washing solution is composed of an aqueous solution of a water-soluble alcohol and used in the separating and refining method of the nucleic acid including the step for absorbing the nucleic acid into the solid phase composed of the organic polymer having the hydroxy group on the surface and desorbing the nucleic acid from the solid phase.
