<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for caulking a screw cap by which stability when the cap is mounted is good, and a specified angle of caulking can be obtained by a definite angle of rotation of a cap chuck. <P>SOLUTION: A mark 21 for controlling the angle of caulking on a container side having a definite positional relation to a starting position of a screw part is provided on the outer periphery of an opening part of the container, and a mark 11 for controlling the angle of caulking on the cap side is provided similarly on the outer periphery of the cap 1. The cap chuck 31 is rotated and driven to perform fitting positioning of the screw cap before caulking is started so that a screw starting position of the screw cap and a screw starting position of the container have a specified angular relation when caulking is started, and then, the screw cap is fitted to the opening of the container to start caulking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
