USE OF INTRONIC RNA TO MEASURE GENE EXPRESSION

The invention is based on the use of intronic RNA in monitoring gene expression. Accordingly, the present invention concerns methods of gene expression profiling using intronic RNA, the expression of which correlates with the expression of corresponding exonic RNA, and diagnostic and prognost ic methods based on the results of such gene expression studies.
