DISK MEDIA MARKING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique of visually improving the quality of disk media marking and preventing the occurrence of a gap at the end of tracks and/or overwriting of laser marking.

SOLUTION: The disk media marking system which overcomes the above problems is provided. In an embodiment, a laser draws an image as a laser mark written on a concentric track on the disk media. A print control application decides the radius of a first circular track in such a manner that the circumferential length of the first circular track corresponds to integer pieces of laser mark intervals. The print control application further decides the radius increment from the first circular track to the second circular track in such a manner that the circumferential length of the second circular track corresponds to integer pieces of the second laser mark intervals.
