OPTICAL DROP MODULE AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an optical drop module for separating to receive only a specific light wavelength, and to provide an optical transmission apparatus using the module.

SOLUTION: The module has a light receiving part 1 in which a light receiving element is optically coupled to a light output part obtained by inserting a filter 1b between cut surfaces (3b, 3c) obtained by cutting in the middle of the fiber 3 obliquely crossing a core 3a of an optical fiber 3. An optical connector 2 is disposed at one end part of the fiber 3, a ferrule 1c able to physically contact with the connector 2 is disposed at the other end part and the light receiving part 1 has a receptacle structure by integrating the ferrule 1c with the light receiving part 1.
