PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the fix planting of sweet potato seedling by sowing the seedling in a manner similar to the sowing of seeds on a field. SOLUTION: The subject gel-coated seed-like material is produced by immersing the vine of sweet potato in a coating gel layer composed of an aqueous gel.
