PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for opening/closing a roof of a large-scale structure, which is provided so that a clearance between respective roof panels can be narrowed by inclining the roof panels, entering storage places, in a vertical direction or the same direction and so that the respective roof panels can close a top surface of a skeleton by being displaced to a horizontal state when paid out from the storage places, and which is provided so that the roof can be efficiently opened/closed in this way. SOLUTION: A rotating rail 8, which is arranged along a traveling rail 6 for a travel cart 5, is inclined in such a manner as to gradually move away from the traveling rail 6 at an entrance 3a of the storage place; a rotating roller 7, which is annexed to each of the roof panels 2, is moved by coming into contact with the rotating rail 8; and thus, the roof panel 2 is brought into a horizontal state from a vertical or inclined state when paid out from the storage place 3, and brought into the vertical or inclined state from the horizontal state when drawn into the storage place.
