CHIPPING APPARATUS AND CHIPPING METHOD OF LINING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chipping apparatus for efficiently chipping lining. SOLUTION: This chipping apparatus includes: a gondola 2 provided in a shell 30 so as to be liftable; and a chipping apparatus body 5 provided on the gondola 2 so as to be integrally liftable and revolving in the peripheral direction of the shell 30. The chipping apparatus 5 is provided with a spray nozzle group 12 formed of a plurality of spray nozzles along in the revolving direction and a thickness sensor for measuring the thickness of the lining 32 of the shell 30. The injection pressure of a fluid from the spray nozzle of the spray nozzle group 12 is set to gradually increase toward the rear-positioning nozzle from the frontally positioning nozzle in the revolving direction.
