<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to cause a uneven gloss even in forming images on both sides of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: Toner images are formed on one or both sides of a sheet-like recording medium P. The recording medium P is passed through a pressure contact part N between a rotated fixing member 61 and a pressure member rotated in pressure contact with the fixing member 61. Thus, the toner images are fixed to the recording medium.
