PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt steering device of adequate tightening force, excellent operability and simple structure without excessive tightening load applied to the device in tilt adjustment. SOLUTION: A movable bracket B is fitted between both fixing side parts 1 and 1 of a fixing bracket A via a tilt bolt 10, a main cam 11 turned by an operating lever 13 is screwed to a protruded portion from the fixing bracket A of the tilt bolt 10, and a cam follower 12 is provided between the fixing side part 1 and the main cam 11. The main cam 11 is screw-moved in the distant direction of the fixing side part 1 by the screwing to the tilt bolt 10, and the cam follower 12 is cam-moved in the direction of the fixing side part 1 to the main cam 11.
