PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platemaking method for an aluminum printing plate capable of satisfying overall printing characteristics, such as ink acceptability, ink eliminatability, plate wear, scumming, blanket piles, and development latitude. SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate having physical development nuclei between an aluminum support object and silver halide emulsion layers is characterized by that the physical development nuclei and colloidal silica are mixed and carried.
