PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an externally heat-insulating air-venting method for use in constructing a wooden building or a steel skeleton building, which can fix an external wall panel, a venting furring strip, and a heat insulating material to a framework member easily and with good construction accuracy. SOLUTION: According to the externally heat-insulating air-venting method, the heat insulating material is temporarily fixed to the framework member, and the venting furring strip is temporarily fixed to the external wall panel. Thereafter the external wall panel is fixed via the venting furring strip and the heat insulating material to the framework member, from a surface of the external wall panel, by means of nails or screws.
