PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield and quality of a head suspension provided in head assembly. SOLUTION: A head suspension for mounting a head for performing recording /reproduction to a recording medium has: a head mounting part 43 on which a magnetic head 44 is mounted; and convex patterns having ends which are formed in parallel on this head mounting part 43 with the prescribed interval in the direction of at least either of a width direction and a longitudinal direction.
