PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process beam driving device capable of avoiding a process beam or a driving device that carries a work step by step from being damaged even when any operational troubles occur. SOLUTION: Process beam driving mechanisms 2a and 2b comprise driving units 6a and 6b or 6c and 6d disposed between stands 3 on both sides of a forging press 1, the driving units are coupled with process beams 9a and 9b parallel to each other via drive link mechanisms 7a and 7b or 8a and 8b. The drive link mechanisms 7a and 7b or 8a and 8b are coupled with the end parts of the process beam 9a or 9b via beam fixing devices 10a and 10b. The process beams 9a and 9b are easily exchangeable thereby, and when dies are exchanged in a press, a required free space can be formed by detaching the process beams 9a and 9b.
