<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a proper operation schedule by predicting a traveling pattern that is sufficiently reflected with a driving property of a driver, and sufficiently reduce fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This drive control system comprises a course setting means that sets a course to a destination; a memory processing means that stores and statistically processes traveling data of the set course and traveling environment information; a predicting means that predicts the traveling pattern of the set course based on present traveling environment information and the stored traveling data; and a control means that sets the operation schedules of an engine 21 and a motor 24 based on the predicted traveling pattern, and controls operations of the engine 21 and the motor 24 according to the set operation schedules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
