PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery composed by improving its output and service life. SOLUTION: This secondary battery 100 includes: a shaft 110; a battery case 120; cells A and B each comprising a positive electrode sheet 202, a negative electrode sheet 206 and separator sheets 204 and 208; and an electrolyte. An end of the electrode sheet 202 included in the cell A is superimposed on and jointed to an end of the electrode sheet 206 included in the cell B adjacent to it.
