PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hingeless spectacle frame, which enables soft-touch clamping while making good uses of advantages of hingeless structure, and its forming method. SOLUTION: A solid round rod 12 of a metal material with superior elasticity is drawn by swaging into a round rod 14 which has a different diameter and difference in elasticity due to the difference in diameter is used to form the hingeless spectacle frame 10. Namely, a browbar an end piece, and a temple are formed integrally of the different-diameter round bar 14 having an endpiece equivalent part 14b and a temple equivalent part 14c formed to diameters where elasticity is obtained and a browbar equivalent part 14a formed to a diameter where no elasticity is obtained. Consequently, the endpiece 14b and temple 14c can be deformed without deforming the browbar 14a, and then tension of the temple can be obtained over a wide range. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
