The machine for wrapping groups of packs (10) of cigarettes comprises a vertical conveyor (20) which feeds them to a horizontal conveyor belt (27) fitted with plates (28) which divide it into pockets. The packs are fed along the underside of the belt past jaws (35, 36) which seal the wrapping around the group of packs. They are then transferred at the end of the belt to a third conveyor (46) which feeds them on for further processing.
