PURPOSE: A device and a method for displaying the text information for weather in a dual OSD(On Screen Display) method are provided to display the detection information for a weather condition, such as temperature, humidity, and a speed and a direction of wind, on a monitor screen by mixing the detection information with a moving image in the dual OSD method. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(104) detects the weather condition for the temperature, the humidity, and the speed and the direction of the wind. An information collector(106) receives/stores a weather information signal output from the sensor unit and periodically transmits the stored data through a communication network. An information processor(108) receives the data transmitted from the information collector and a video signal output from a camera(102), converts the data from the information collector into a text signal, and mixes the video signal with the text signal in the dual OSD method. A display unit(110) receives/displays the video signal output from the information processor. |
