The invention relates to a semi-automated gas burner, meant for the heating installations using natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas, and which may be mounted by being introduced directly into a stove or in connection with a boiler. According to the invention, the burner comprises a cylindrical body (A) making one piece with a rectangular flange (2) and provided with a clamp (17) wherein a thermocouple (13) and a base plate (B) are fixed, a connecting body (2) connected to a spring valve (7) which is connected by means of an elbow (8) bent at an angle of 90 to an electrical valve (C), said electric valve resting by means of a nipple (10) on a gusset (a) of the base plate (B), a limit thermostat (16) located in a hole (c) of the base plate. A protection lid (23), provided at its upper side with an inclined wall (e), having a cutting-out (h) made in another frontal wall (9), is attached on the connected body (4), said cutting-out being designed to operate the needle valve (7), and having another cutting-out (j) made on the right side wall (i).
