PURPOSE: An information medium is provided to prevent a phenomenon in which a color partially gets darker when an image is formed in a section of a color receiving layer, consequently image non-uniformity can be suppressed. CONSTITUTION: A color receiving layer(12) is formed on a lower layer(10) which is formed on a surface of an information medium(14). The color receiving layer(12) can cover at least a portion of an outer edge portion of the lower layer(10), or can cover at least a portion of an inner edge portion of the lower layer. The portion of the outer edge portion or the inner edge portion refers to more than 1/20 of the entire length of the girth.
