A pair of monomode ribbon waveguides (1,2) defining longitudinal and lateral guide axis (X,Y), respectively are arranged on either side of a saturable absorber (3). The absorber has a dimension along the longitudinal guide axis greater than the dimension along the lateral guide axis. The two wave guides inject optical clock signal and binary signal, respectively. |
