PURPOSE: A double shutoff valve is provided to prevent damage of a valve seat and a gasket by minimizing friction between the valve seat and the disk gasket, to improve sealing efficiency by shutting the pipe doubly with two disks, and to prevent wrong operation and accidents by opening and closing accurately. CONSTITUTION: A double shutoff valve is connected to a pipe for flowing fluid in a petrochemical plant, and chemicals, LNG or LPG transport ships to regulate flow of fluid. An operating shaft(20) is formed in a valve box(10), and connected to eccentric cams(23a,23b). Disks(21a,21b) are combined with the outsides of eccentric cams, and gaskets(22a,22b) are inserted to disks. The operating shaft out of a cover(30) is connected to a press lever(35), and two divided disks are moved linearly to a valve seat in the valve box by rotating the operating shaft in turning the press lever.
