A portable beverage locking device for preventing a date rape comprises a rigid circular base, a corrugated cylindrical tube, a rigid circular cover, and a locking mechanism. The corrugated cylindrical tube is securely attached to the rigid circular base. The rigid circular cover is movably attached to the corrugated cylindrical tube. The portable beverage locking device is carried in a collapsed state. The rigid circular base is capable of receiving a beverage. The corrugated cylindrical tube is extended upwards manually and the rigid circular cover is opened and closed by the user to enclose the beverage. The locking mechanism is capable of locking the portable beverage locking device in order to prevent a date-rape drug from being poured into the beverage while the user is absent from the beverage. This invention relates to beverage locking devices, and the principal use of the invention is for preventing a date rape.
