PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a clutch housing suitable for mass-production, by which the machining of an oil hole and a notch is performed without being affected by the shape of an outside drum part and simultaneously the improvement of strength and accuracy is attained by using an integrally formed base stock. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a clutch housing (1) which is integrally formed so as to have a shaft part (11) and outside drum parts (13, 14) in which the shaft part is integrally enclosed, comprizes a first stage where the outer peripheral cylindrical part (14) of the outside ram part is formed by offsetting in the axial direction to the shaft part in order to provide a region (15) which is not opposed to at least a part of the shaft part in the radius direction, a second stage where the above region is machined and a third stage where the clutch housing is formed into an approximately finished product by restoring the offset by plastic work and opposing the region and the outer peripheral cylindrical part to each other.
