PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing shaped glass parts using a shaping tool, by which shaping of the shaped glass parts can be performed with high accuracy; and to provide a method for shaping the glass parts. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the shaped glass parts comprises a process for preparing the shaping tool composed of a base body equipped with a shaping surface for shaping the glass parts, in which surface discontinuous parts formed for shaping the glass parts and penetrating opening parts, each extending through the base body from the shaping surface close to the penetrating opening part are provided, a process for making the pressure in the vicinity of the shaping surface of the shaping tool low so that glass 5 is pulled into the discontinuous parts, and a process for feeding a viscous glass mass onto the shaping surface.
