PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle motion control device capable of controlling the behavior of an automobile toward stabilizing it even when a failure is detected, with respect to the vehicle motion control device provided with a front wheels auxiliary rudder angle providing means, a rear wheels auxiliary rudder angle providing means, and a braking device. SOLUTION: The vehicle motion control device provided with a steering wheel operation rudder angle detecting means, a vehicle speed detecting means, a front wheels control system, a rear wheels control system, a brake control system, and a vehicle motion control means comprises: a failure detecting means that detects failures of respective means, a failure-affected systems determining means for determining the control systems affected by the detected failure, and a control mode selecting means that chooses a control mode based on the control systems not affected by the detected failure. The vehicle motion control means comprises a vehicle motion control part on failing that performs control of vehicle motion, even when a failure is detected, according to the control mode selected based on the control systems not affected by the failure.
