PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining technique for imparting high airtightness to a ceramic joint body formed by joining ceramic bodies to each other with a brazing filler metal. SOLUTION: A ceramic joint body is formed by joining a 1st ceramic body 1 and a 2nd ceramic body 2 to each other with the brazing filler metal 3. A brazing filler metal retaining part 4 having an opening toward a joint surface is formed on one of the 1st ceramic body and the 2nd ceramic body and the brazing filler metal 3b exists in the brazing filler metal retaining part 4 in the joined state of the 1st ceramic body 1 and the 2nd ceramic body 2 with the brazing filler metal.
