PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method etc. capable of easily and inexpensively preventing a depressed and lost part from appearing near the earth's surface in the back part of a caisson etc. due to the scouring/outflow of sediment, associated with fluctuations in wave pressure. SOLUTION: The sediment 300 near an upper part of a back surface 202a of the caisson 202 is removed so that an inclined plane 11b can be formed toward an underground part of the back surface 202a of the caisson 202 from the earth's surface at a prescribed distance from the back surface 202a of the caisson 202 to a land side; a space after removal is filled/replaced with crushed stone 11s as a filler; and an almost horizontal beam-like structure with an inverted trapezoid-shaped cross section, which is composed of the filler 11s, is formed in the ground near the upper part of the back part of the bank of the caisson 202. Thus, even if the action of the fluctuation of the wave pressure occurs in water which permeates into the sediment, the enormously heavy filler is prevented from moving/flowing out, and the depressed and lost part is prevented from appearing near the earth's surface in the back part of the bank of the caisson 202.
