<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool holder for a metal fine wire that stays smooth when a spool is mounted on and dismounted from the spool holder, while the spool is held without fail after the spool has been mounted on the spool holder. <P>SOLUTION: The spool holder comprises a rotating shaft (12), a cam (11) that is movably mounted to the rotating shaft (12) and has a cam surface, a holder body (3) that can incorporate the cam (11) and has a shape for engaging with a through hole of the spool (2), and a cam follower (5) that abutts to the cam surface mounted on the holder body (3) in a movable manner between a stop position and a release position. By making a spool flange (2a) abut against a holder flange (3a) to push the holder flange, the cam follower (5) slides on the cam surface to a first stable state (as shown in the figure) where the spool (2) is held. Further, by pushing the held spool (2), the cam follower (5) slides on the cam surface to a second stable state (not shown in Fig.) where the spool is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
