DEODORIZATION/STERILIZATION METHOD AND DEODORIZATION/STERILIZATION GAS GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization/sterilization method showing an improved deodorization/sterilization effect with a stable aerification efficiency and a deodorization/sterilization gas generator that can be downsized.

SOLUTION: The deodorization/sterilization method is used to obtain chlorine dioxide by aerifying a stabilized chlorine dioxide for deodorization or sterilization in the generator. An electrolyzer 3 is used for aerification of the stabled chlorine dioxide and the electrode of the electrolyzer 3 is switched positive 1 negative for aerification. In the deodorization/sterilization gas generator 1 having a chemical vessel 2 storing the stabilized chlorine dioxide and an aerification promotion means generating a gas by aerifying the stabilized chlorine dioxide in the chemical vessel 2, the aerification promotion means uses the electrolyzer 3 having an electrode that can be switched positive/negative. Consequently the electrolyzation efficiency of the stabled chlorine dioxide continues, and provides an efficient deodorization/sterilization method whose aerification amount is stable and the deodorization/sterilization gas generator that can be downsized.
