ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH PAPER FOLDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printing apparatus equipped with a paper folding device capable of preventing welding of toner on overlapped printing faces due to insufficient cooling and preventing the occurrence of jam.

SOLUTION: This electrophotographic printing apparatus is provided with the folding device which folds front and rear surfaces of a continuous printing paper provided with folding perforations in which toner is fixed by heat alternately and has a sensor for detecting a table on which folded paper is loaded and upper faces of paper loaded on the table and in which the table is lowered by a fixed amount by the detection of the sensor. A plurality of air blowing ducts for cooling the paper are provided at many steps in the direction of paper loading to control air blowing from the air blowing ducts by an output of the sensor.
