PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image server for easily making character string information corresponding to a photographic image in a portable terminal with a camera correspond to the photographic image for managing it. SOLUTION: When the data of images photographed by communication information equipment 20A to 20D and the photographic dates are transmitted to an image server 10, in the image server 10, already registered photographic images including season word images are read from an image data memory from season words stored in season word information/season word table based on the received photographic dates, and the similarity with the photographic images is calculated so that the season words corresponding to the received images can be decided. Then, a haiku already registered in a season word categorized image No/haiku data memory is read corresponding to the season words corresponding to the received images and the images, and the data of the season words/already registered photographic images/haiku are transmitted to the communication information equipment 20A to 20D. The communication information equipment 20A to 20D are able to easily prepare and register haiku corresponding to their own photographic images by displaying and referring to the already registered photographic images/haiku.
