PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ethylene copolymer resin which satisfies contradictory properties such as flexibility, heat resistance and strengths in the process for producing the ethylene copolymer resin by a high-pressure polymerization process. SOLUTION: In the process for producing the ethylene copolymer resin by the high-pressure polymerization method, a reactor is provided with at least two raw material feed places, and mixed gases of ethylene and a (meth)acrylic ester having different (meth)acrylic ester concentrations are fed from the raw material feed places.
