<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable apparatus that can be wearable while suppressing the deterioration of a communication characteristic of an antenna. <P>SOLUTION: This portable apparatus 1 is provided with a metal band 11 and the antenna 13 having directivity for performing at least one between the transmission of a prescribed radio signal and its reception. The arrangement relation of the antenna 13 and the metal band 11 is set so as to be within an angle range in which a communication loss value of the antenna 13 is not higher than a prescribed threshold in an optimum communication characteristic direction of the antenna 13 with respect to a direction in which the metal band 11 extends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
