PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device in which a contact fault hardly occurs between the electrode contacts by providing a self-cleaning function. SOLUTION: When a key top 4 is pressed down, an interval between the winding start end 7b and the winding finish end 7c of a spiral contactor 7 is extended by an operating part 3B provided in an actuator 3. Then, since the winding finish end 7c slids on the front surface of a fixed electrode 5, the dust or a dirt adhered to the winding finish end 7c or/and the fixed electrode 5 or an oxide film, etc., formed on the front surface of the electrode is self-cleaned.
