PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display with which a display with desired gray scale luminance is produced in any kind of use environment by making a liquid crystal certainly respond to and arrive at a transmittance defined by an input picture signal (aimed gray scale luminance) after a lapse of one vertical display period. SOLUTION: The service provision system is provided with a temperature sensor 8 to detect temperature inside the display, a communication control part 10 to require an enhancement conversion parameter to make a liquid crystal display panel 5 respond to the transmittance defined by the input picture signal from a server 300 via a communication network 200 after a lapse of one vertical display period and to retrieve the enhancement conversion parameter from the server 300 under the detected temperature inside the device, a rewritable OS table memory 11 to memorize the retrieved enhancement conversion parameter and an enhancement conversion part 3 to impart an enhancement conversion process to compensate optical response characteristics of a liquid crystal display panel 5 to the input picture signal by using the memorized enhancement conversion parameter.
