<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress slurry deposition at a branch part of a pump header pipe for slurry carriage. <P>SOLUTION: A main supply pipe 1 from a pump P is bent from a horizontal portion, the horizontal portion is formed into a header pipe 2, and a branch pipe 3 is branched from the header pipe 2. Slurry flows through the main supply pipe 1. Since slurry constantly flows through each branch portion, slurry is least deposited at each branch portion. A cleaning port 5 at a terminal part of the header pipe is closed in an opening/closing manner by a flange 6 or the like, slurry in the header pipe 2 is discharged, and the header pipe is cleaned by feeding cleaning solution. The main supply pipe 1 and the branch pipe 3 are around upwardly in the same direction to allow the slurry to flow in the header pipe 2 by the gravity, reduce the slurry deposition in the branch pipe 3 or the like, and are miniaturized. The distance from opening/closing valves 4 interposed in the main supply pipe 1 and the branch pipe 3 to the header pipe 2 is set to be 30-400 mm. With this distance, slurry is hardly deposited in aromatic carbonic acid of the slurry concentration of≥5 wt.%, and a working space for interposing the opening/closing valve 4 is ensured thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
