PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly transfer a cassette between a ceiling travel vehicle and an elevating base and to save a space. SOLUTION: An elevation space 8 and a storage space 10 are arranged in a stocker 2 and an opening 32 is provided in a ceiling part in the elevation space to transfer the cassette 14 between the ceiling travel vehicle and it. In the elevation space 8, the elevating base 12 provided with a transfer means and a guide member of the cassette is elevated and lowered to load the cassette in the storage space 10. The stocker 2 is arranged in such a way that the elevation space 8 is positioned in a lower part of a traveling rail at a right angle to the running rail of the ceiling travel vehicle.
