The ventilation device (1) has an air jet (2) to supply air to the interior of the vehicle. The air jet has a guide element (24) acting with a guide rail (25), and also a fitting aid in the form of a tab (31) on the rear wall (23) to engage with a guide surface (32). The air jet can thereby be guided into position mechanically. The guide rail is fitted to the air channel (22) or to a carrier (4).
